TOURNAMENT POLICIES
ADMINISTRATIVE POLICIES

Team registrations will not be processed without payment.

All event participants will be required to sign waivers and provide photo ID (proof of age) before the start of the tournament.

Minimum Age Requirements: Any player violating the minimum age requirement (18 years old in the Open, Co-Ed, Elite, Women, and Novice divisions; and 49 years old in the 49er's divisions) will forfeit their place in the tournament. Any team playing with an underage or unregistered player will be disqualified from the tournament and will not receive a refund. Your age will be determined as of February 23, 2024.

Youth Divisions: There will be two levels of play that you can sign up for in this division, House and Comp.

HOUSE: The House level is for players who skate at the Tier III "HOUSE A" /Tier IV "HOUSE B" level. You do not need to be currently registered with an association to be eligible to play. Comp players may not play down at this level. Teams registered for the house division found to have comp players rostered will forfeit their games.

COMP: The Comp level is for players who skate at a Tier I or Tier II level. Tier III/Tier IV skaters are welcome to skate up and register for this level if they want more of a challenge.

A player can only play for one team in the tournament.

The tournament commissioners reserve the right to add or delete rules; all teams will be informed of changes before the start of the tournament.

The tournament commissioners reserve the right to prohibit any player or team from participating if they are deemed to cause safety concerns.
PAYMENTS + REFUND POLICY

Registration to reserve your team's spot in the 2024 Last Frontier Pond Hockey Classic requires full payment, including a 15% non-refundable fee.

If the event is canceled due to weather or unsafe ice conditions 45 to 30 days before the tournament, teams will receive a refund of 50% of the registration fee and a guaranteed team spot for 2025, LFPHC.

If the event is canceled 29 to 10 days before the tournament, teams will receive a refund of 25% of the registration fee and a guaranteed team spot for 2025, LFPHC.

If the event is canceled less than ten days before the tournament, teams will receive a guaranteed team spot for the 2025 LFPHC; however, no refunds will be able to be given.
As with all weather-related events, we strongly encourage participants to purchase travel insurance where available when booking flights.
EVENT SITE POLICIES

No outside food or beverage is allowed on the LFPHC event grounds.

Tobacco products are not allowed on the LFPHC event grounds.

Please be courteous to the Big Lake neighborhood: no littering or trespassing.

No animals are allowed inside any event structures.

Lost and Found will be located at the Information Booth.

Medical Personnel will be on-site for the duration of tournament play. A LFPHC Volunteer will be able to help in contacting Medical Personnel if the situation warrants.

Dress appropriately for rapidly changing weather conditions and a frosty arctic breeze from the north.

LFPHC is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
